Wilson Luhoha

Wilson is a Systems Analyst with more than nine years of experience in the development, analysis, implementation, and management of ICT projects across non-governmental organizations (NGOs/CSOs), private sector companies, and government institutions. He has built a strong track record in designing and supporting technology solutions that enhance organizational efficiency and data management.

He possesses specialized expertise in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), database management, and systems administration. Wilson has been actively involved in supporting organizations to implement and maintain robust ICT systems that streamline operations and improve information management.

Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Systems from the University of Dodoma. In addition, he has completed several professional training programs, including certifications in Cybersecurity, SPSS, and Oracle Database Management at the Microsoft Innovation Centre.

Joel Zebedayo

Joel is a professional driver with over 20 years of experience in passenger and cargo transportation, vehicle safety, and logistical support. Throughout his career, he has worked in both commercial and organizational settings, providing reliable transport services, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations, and supporting day-to-day operational activities.

He is recognized for his reliability, strong safety awareness, and commitment to ensuring efficient and secure transportation services. In addition to driving, Joel has practical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and transport operations, which enables him to support the smooth functioning of organizational logistics.

Joel holds a Certificate in Advanced Driving (Grade II) from the National Institute of Transport (NIT).

Rosemary Mwenda

Rosemary is a highly dedicated Receptionist who plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the organization. With her exceptional skills in front-office and administrative support, she effectively manages the reception desk, welcomes and assists visitors, handles incoming communications, and provides invaluable assistance to staff members across different departments.

Rosemary holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the College of Business Education in Dar es Salaam and has obtained professional certificates in Secretarial Studies and Library Services from the Vocational Education and Training Authority. Her qualifications and experience make her a valuable asset to the team at HakiElimu.

Regina Monarya

HakiElimu’s activities are driven by a dedicated and highly committed staff team that brings together diverse skills, experience, and a shared passion for social justice and quality education.

The staff demonstrate strong professionalism, integrity, and teamwork in planning and implementing programs, while maintaining close engagement with communities, partners, and stakeholders. Their commitment to evidence-based advocacy, continuous learning, and accountability ensures that HakiElimu’s interventions remain relevant, impactful, and responsive to the needs of learners and citizens. Through their hard work and collaborative spirit, the staff play a central role in advancing HakiElimu’s mission and values.

Sylvand Jeremiah

Sylvand is a professional driver who has maintained an impeccable track record since 2002. Throughout his extensive career, he has developed a deep understanding of diverse road networks and driving conditions, earning a reputation for being responsible, punctual, and exceptionally trustworthy. Committed to the highest standards of discipline and professionalism, he prioritizes safety in every task, making him a confident and highly capable expert in his field.

David Kagondi

David is a dedicated administrative professional who has been serving as an Administrative Assistant at HakiElimu since 2004. In this role, he supports the organization’s day-to-day administrative and operational functions, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of office activities.

Prior to joining HakiElimu, David worked at the Kuleana Centre for Children from 1995 to 2003, where he gained valuable experience in office management while supporting programs focused on child welfare and development.

David is known for his strong work ethic, discipline, and collaborative approach. Through his commitment and reliability, he continues to play an important role in strengthening organizational efficiency and supporting the effective implementation of HakiElimu’s work.

Esther Mashoto

Esther is a highly dedicated Accounting Assistant with over 19 years of professional experience in financial management and accounting support. She has consistently demonstrated excellence in her role and has been recognized with three Best Worker Awards from HakiElimu for her outstanding performance and commitment.

She possesses extensive expertise in payroll management, bookkeeping, and ledger maintenance, along with strong capabilities in financial reporting support, payroll and tax administration, and data management. Esther is highly proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, Aruti, Sage, and ERP systems, enabling her to manage complex financial processes with efficiency and accuracy.

She is a registered member of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) under Module E (2008). Esther holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance (2015) from Mzumbe University and an Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (2003–2005).

 

Frederick Rwehumbiza

Frederick is a procurement expert with over 22 years of professional experience in procurement, logistics, and administrative management. He has a strong track record of supporting organizational operations through effective procurement planning, contract management, and logistics coordination.

Frederick brings extensive expertise in managing procurement processes to ensure efficiency, value for money, and full compliance with established policies and procedures. His work contributes to strengthening operational effectiveness and ensuring the timely availability of goods and services required for successful program implementation.

He holds a Master of Science in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from Mzumbe University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Tumaini University.

Lilyan Omary

Lilyan is an experienced Personal Secretary to the Executive Director with a proven track record of over 10 years supporting executive leadership and managing office operations. She excels in administration, communication, and human resource management.

Lilyan holds a Certification in Secretarial and Office Management from the Institute of Adult Education, as well as a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Social Work in Dar es Salaam. She is highly regarded for her dedication, professionalism, and exceptional organizational skills.

Florence Ngari

Florence is a Statistician and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) practitioner with over five years of professional experience in data analysis and management, research, and evaluation. She holds Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Statistics and is passionate about using data and evidence to support learning, accountability, and informed decision-making in development programs.

Rose Kalage

Rose is a sociologist with more than 10 years of experience supporting project implementation and contributing to research initiatives. Over the course of her career, she has participated in various studies and co-authored several publications, particularly in areas related to social development and education.

She is passionate about advancing the role of research in informing policies and programs that improve the education sector and enhance the well-being of Tanzanian children.

Rose holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.

Naomi Mwakilembe

Naomi is a community development practitioner with over 10 years of experience working with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and local government authorities, particularly in project planning and management. Since joining HakiElimu in 2009, she has played a key role in supporting community engagement initiatives, including the recruitment and capacity building of Friends of Education, school management committee members, students, and community members.

Her work focuses on promoting gender equality, child rights, and child protection through training, awareness raising, and community mobilization.

Naomi holds a Master of Science in Development Policy from Mzumbe University, Morogoro.
